Cogitation Club’s signature programs include the Young Climate Authors™ (YCA), the Young Earth Authors™ (YEA) & Kaatib(a)™ programs for middle & high schoolers. These programs use project-based learning, critical pedagogy, storytelling and place-based education. 60 books have been written by children through these programs and have received international acclaim. Our research has documented improvement in children's environmental and climate literacy, enhanced sense of agency & empowerment and improved metacognition, creativity & engagement. The 5-6 month program starts as an intensive summer camp and continues as weekly classes during the academic term.

Young Earth Authors™ & the Young Climate Authors™ are book-authoring programs where children & youth write stories on climate change & environmental issues.
Kaatib(a)™ is a book authoring program where children & youth write about their lived experience as members of the South Asian Muslim diaspora.
