Thinking Thru the Year
MATH FOR GIFTED KIDS
For kids gifted in Maths, the regular schoolwork is often boring. They want to know the WHY behind every concept and are not satisfied mastering the techniques. Mentor & coach, IITian Hauroon Jamal knows exactly how they feel. His carefully designed multi-level course challenges these kids by stretching their thinking on number theory, geometry and later algebra, probability and much more. The payoff? Kids learn to use their higher order thinking, develop persistence & grit, and create the foundation for STEM work later.
READING THRU THE YEAR
This is just the course for bookworms for whom the biggest stack of books is never enough. However, for many of these kids, reading is often passive, without leading to deep, thoughtful engagement. The highly experienced mentor, Aneesa Jamal, has carefully curated an eclectic collection of short stories which she uses to help children improve reading comprehension, critical thinking skills and written & spoken communication. Check out her article on how she instilled the love for reading in schoolchildren here.
