IMPORTANT TERMS & CONDITIONS - READ BEFORE REGISTERING
1. Fees: Fees are payable in advance, non-negotiable & non-refundable. The fees do not cover the cost of printing the books or costs of excursions (if any) which will be charged on actuals. Program costs of the book launch will be divided among the participants on actuals.ย
2. Exclusive rights: Cogitation Club has exclusive rights to the printing, publishing and disseminating the books.
3. Student Prerequisites
a. Personal Characteristics: Book completion depends wholly on the student's ability, motivation and self-discipline. They are expected to behave in a mature and appropriate manner during the sessions. Disruptive, inappropriate or violent behavior will result in removal from the project without refund.ย
b. Language Skills: Students must be fluent in reading and writing English. This is not a language class and mentors will not be correcting grammar, punctuation, spellings etc.
c. Art skills: Students will be expected to illustrate their storybooks.ย ย
d. Use of AI: Students are not permitted to use AI for their books in any manner or form. The program will be discontinued for any participant found using AI.
e. Resource Requirements: Students must have access to a laptop/tablet for the project. They will need good network connectivity , cameras & mics during the online sessions. Cameras need to be on for the duration of the sessions. Further, students will need to purchase art supplies and stationery etc. during the illustration phase.ย
f. Attendance: All sessions are essential. Missed classes cannot be made up. All assigned work should be completed and submitted punctually. Online sessions are not recorded.ย
