"Thinking Through the Year" address the gap in regular schooling - viz. teaching thinking. The program will integrate English, Math, Science, History, Ecology and other subjects in an interdisciplinary fashion to teach critical thinking, independent learning, curiosity, collaboration. The programs is curriculum independent but have a positive impact on the academic abilities of the participants.
Classes will be held on weekday evenings and weekends on a regular monthly basis, with breaks aligned with school holidays. There will be homework assignments. Students will be placed in the Foundation level or higher levels depending on their requirements. There will be culminating projects in the last term which will encapsulate the child's learning throughout the year. Regular feedback and formative assessments will be provided to parents each term.
As shaping children’s minds requires regular and extended contact, we expect the students to commit for an entire academic year.
